The Overseas Worker Identification Card (OWIC) is an official document issued by the Ministry of Labour in Myanmar. It is:

• Mandatory for any Myanmar citizen who wants to legally work abroad.
• Issued under the 1999 Overseas Employment Law.
• Valid for 5 years.
• Required to register and track overseas workers and provide legal protection and assistance if needed.

• To ensure legal departure for overseas employment.
• To help workers get assistance from Myanmar embassies abroad.
• To track remittances and tax compliance (e.g., 2% tax via embassies).
• To support labour policy-making and stop illegal recruitment.
• To avoid the use of fake or unauthorized documents (like OERC).

OWIC (Overseas Worker Identification Card) ဆိုသည်မှာ

နိုင်ငံခြားအလုပ်သမား မှတ်ပုံတင်ကဒ် ဖြစ်ပြီး၊
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အလုပ်သမားဝန်ကြီးဌာန မှ အတည်ပြုထုတ်ပေးသည်။

📌 အရေးကြီးသော အချက်များ –

• နိုင်ငံခြားအလုပ်သွားလိုသူ မည်သူမဆို OWIC မရှိဘဲ ထွက်ခွာခွင့်မရှိပါ။
• 1999 ခုနှစ် နိုင်ငံခြားအလုပ်အကိုင်ဥပဒေအရ ထုတ်ပေးသည်။
• ၅ နှစ်တိတိ သက်တမ်းရှိသည်။
• အလုပ်သမားများကို မှတ်တမ်းတင်ရာတွင် အသုံးပြုသည်။

✅ အဓိက ရည်ရွယ်ချက်များ –

• နိုင်ငံခြားသို့ တရားဝင်ထွက်ခွာနိုင်ရန်။
• နိုင်ငံခြားတွင် သံရုံးများမှ အကူအညီရရှိနိုင်ရန်။
• ဝင်ငွေအခွန် ၂% ကို သံရုံးမှ ပေးသွင်းထားခြင်းဖြင့် စနစ်တကျ လုပ်ငန်းလုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ရန်။
• အလုပ်သမားမူဝါဒများ ချမှတ်ရာတွင် အချက်အလက်အသုံးပြုနိုင်ရန်။
• အတုအယောင် မူယဉ်တွဲ OERC ကဲ့သို့သော မဟုတ်မှန်သောစာရွက်စာတမ်းအသုံးပြုမှုကို တားမြစ်ရန်။
